Job Title: Entry Level Industrial Engineer/Cost Engineer


Location: Mandeville, LA


Position Overview: Bollinger is seeking an entry-level Industrial/Cost Engineer to join our team.The role involves completing detailed cost estimates, gathering and analyzing technical, cost, and schedule data from various stakeholders, interpreting drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation, and collaborating closely with engineering, planning, program management, and operations support teams during proposal development.Interface with supply chain regarding sourcing, logistics, and cost control as part of the new construction estimating process.Opportunities to engage with the new construction team regarding schedule, construction optimization/planning, and overall construction process.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and relevant Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation to support detailed estimate and proposal development.

  • Complete estimates and proposal documents accurately and on time

  • Gather and analyze technical, cost, and schedule data from various stakeholders in the supply chain.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, program management, and operations support teams during proposal development.

  • Meet deadlines under schedule pressure and work effectively within a team environment.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.


Skills:



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.

  • Excellent communication and organization skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Previous marine construction or shipyard experience is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
