Job summary

GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd. in Grande Prairie, Alberta, is hiring two ELINE Operators (Level 1) for full-time entry-level roles on an electric line crew. No prior experience required; full training provided. Background checks or a valid PAL may be required due to explosives access.

You will work a 15 day on, 6 day off rotation with 24‑hour on-call availability while on shift. Camp or hotel accommodations are provided when working away from Grande Prairie.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 driver’s licence and a current driver’s abstract.
• Valid Standard First Aid and H2S Alive certificates.
• Background clearance or PAL required and submitted to the Explosives Regulatory Division.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and a fitness assessment.
• Physically able to perform demanding field work in all weather.
• Willing to work a 15 day on, 6 day off rotation and be on call 24 hours.
• Willing to travel and stay overnight away from Grande Prairie.

Responsibilities

• Drive service equipment to and from the wellsite.
• Assist with rig up and rig out in all weather.
• Service, clean, and maintain tools and equipment in the field and shop.
• Keep the shop organized and equipment ready between calls.
• Follow supervisor directions on every job.
• Adhere to site safety procedures, permits, and hazard assessments.
• Stay on call 24 hours a day during the 15‑day rotation.
• Handle and transport explosive charges under required clearances.
