Pay Rate: $19-21

Job Details:
Our construction client is actively seeking for Entry level Construction Labourers on a temporary basis, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time based on performance and fit. This role offers valuable exposure to the construction industry and project management, with opportunities to attend both in-person and virtual meetings, collaborate with professionals, and gain hands-on experience.

Due to Federal Government program requirements associated with this specific work opportunity, only members of the indigenous community will be considered for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with setting up temporary structures
• Load and unload construction materials
• Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials
• Maintain all safety standards.
• Follow instructions from supervisors
• Operating construction equipment and machinery
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
