We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Entertainment Licensing Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing licensing deals that expand our entertainment properties into new markets and platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong background in entertainment sales, a passion for IP (intellectual property), and the drive to build strategic partnerships that generate revenue and increase brand visibility / opportunities for our entertainment properties.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to license entertainment properties (film, TV, music, games, characters, or brands) across multiple channels and territories.
  • Identify and pitch licensing opportunities to potential partners in various sectors, including merchandise, publishing, gaming, digital platforms, consumer products, and live experiences.
  • Negotiate deal terms, contracts, and royalties to secure favorable agreements that align with business goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective licensees, agencies, and distribution partners.
  • Collaborate closely with legal, marketing, and product teams to ensure successful execution of licensing agreements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and licensing expos.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activity, pipeline development, and revenue forecasting.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Entertainment Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in licensing sales, preferably within the entertainment or media industry.
  • Proven track record of closing licensing deals and meeting revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property, branding, and media licensing trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset and high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Existing network within entertainment, consumer products, or brand licensing.
  • Familiarity with global markets and international licensing practices.
  • Experience in entertainment law or contract negotiation.
