Major Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis of enterprise software, hardware, and transmission facilities using diagnostic tools to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of technology solutions.
  • Ensure proactive action for the operation, installation, and support of enterprise systems and solutions.
  • Assist in planning, assessment, design, construction, and implementation of upgrades and enhancements to existing systems and future enterprise technologies.
  • Research and evaluate enterprise hardware/software solutions and make recommendations.
  • Maintain security on all enterprise server hardware, software, and network, including setup, revision, and cancellation of securities.
  • Monitor enterprise systems, products, and network usage, performance, and capacity; perform trend analysis for system improvements.
  • Manage enterprise-wide user accounts, including addition, deletion, and changes, according to policies.
  • Respond to user inquiries, investigate problems, and develop solutions or action plans.
  • Review and improve documentation, manuals, standards, and procedures.
Key Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL RDBMS products and tools, including Oracle Enterprise Manager, RMAN, OID, APEX, and Warehouse Builder.
  • Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as Oracle RAC, Data Guard, SQL clustering, replication, and always-on availability groups.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Oracle and PostgreSQL in Linux environments, and SQL Server on Windows.
  • Experience implementing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Experience applying patches and upgrades for Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
You Must Also Have
  • Ability to analyze enterprise software, hardware, and transmission facilities using diagnostic tools.
  • Troubleshooting skills for performance issues and providing recommendations.
  • Ability to implement security solutions in line with standards.
  • Proactive planning skills for enterprise system operation, installation, and support.
  • Knowledge of installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading RDBMS and related tools.
  • Effective communication skills for technical support and system upgrades.
  • Knowledge of enterprise hardware and software solutions.
  • Ability to review and improve documentation, manuals, standards, and procedures.
