Job description

Who We Are

Carbon6, now proudly part of SPS Commerce, is transforming the future of ecommerce. Our mission is to simplify success for online sellers by removing barriers and building an ecosystem of tools, resources, and community. Developed by expert sellers, entrepreneurs, and marketplace veterans, our solutions support businesses at every stage of their journey — from launch to global scale.

In early 2025, Carbon6 was acquired by SPS Commerce, the industry’s leading provider of cloud-based supply chain management solutions. This milestone marked a powerful evolution of our vision. Together, we’re integrating Carbon6’s ecommerce platform with SPS’s vast retail network to help sellers grow more efficiently, profitably, and intelligently.

As a global team across North America, Europe, and Asia, we thrive on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Whether you're building new technologies, supporting sellers, or scaling operations, you’ll join a community that’s shaping the future of retail and ecommerce — together.

The Opportunity (Onsite - Toronto, ON)

Join our fast-paced growing startup as an Enterprise Proposal Manager, where you'll have the opportunity to lead the charge in driving sales pitches for enterprise clients, work cross-functionally and interact with senior leadership.

The opportunities to learn and have an impact as an Enterprise Proposal Manager at Carbon6 are unparalleled. We’re building the best suite of tools that’s ever existed for marketplace e-commerce entrepreneurs and we can’t do it without excellence in execution on our strategic initiatives.

This is the perfect role for you if fast-paced environments are energizing to you, you are comfortable working with stakeholders of all levels and you are hungry to learn the business. Collaborating closely with our senior leadership team, you'll handle multiple initiatives, bring structure to our pitch processes and exert influence to bring outcomes to life.

If you love a bit of chaos and seek a role that offers fresh challenges every day, we want you on our team!

Your Impact
  • Own RFI & RFP process: Own the technical and strategic preparation of RFP/RFI responses for large enterprise prospects. You will lead cross functional discussions to gather inputs, transform them into tailored responses and bring out the best of Carbon6; while ensuring a tight turnaround time.
  • Enterprise Pitch Deck: We like to think every client is different. You will play a pivotal role in making clients feel valued and understood. You will own the preparation of pitch decks for enterprise clients. You will work extensively with sales leads and enablement to ensure every proposal is tailored to the respective client’s pain points and priorities.
  • RFI Repository: Build and manage a repository of responses and RFP content, technical documents, and pitch assets. Collaborate with product, ops and sales teams to ensure responses are kept updated real time.
  • Communication & Change Management: Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders through the pre-sales process. You will ensure everyone is held accountable and remains on the same page. You will adapt quickly to shifting priorities, ensuring that changes are smoothly executing without missing SLAs.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: You will have the opportunity to learn about the largest e-commerce players on the planet.
Your Qualifications
  • Hands-on Experience: You have at least 4–6 years of experience in enterprise proposal management, pre-sales, or technical consulting, ideally in SaaS or e-commerce sectors. You have a track record of engaging with enterprise clients and owning and responding to enterprise RFPs/RFIs. You are adept at drafting crisp but compelling RFIs from scratch, based on client enquiry.
  • Stakeholder Management: You excel at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring everyone is kept informed and engaged. You can work with anyone and you can quickly and effectively assess what is important to any given stakeholder, and how to influence across reporting lines to ensure everyone is working in parallel to achieve the outcomes needed for the business.
  • Communication: You possess exemplary communication skills, including active listening and engaging. You are equally eloquent and comfortable communicating in writing, in person, and when speaking to large groups. You can always lead a discussion to an outcome, no matter how many people and different opinions are in the room.
  • Story Telling: You have an art at story telling through pitch decks and client engagement. You excel at bringing out product capabilities and USPs through data, case studies and adapting to customer pain points.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You're skilled at identifying potential obstacles and finding effective solutions quickly. You understand the most powerful thing you can do to drive solutions is to deeply understand the problem. You are innovative and push boundaries when it comes to finding the best solution - you don’t just stick to the obvious or the “tried and true” strategies.
  • Bonus Points: You have an understanding of Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart Retail Link, supply chain workflows, or cost recovery processes is a major plus. You're proficient with Google Suite and Mac applications.
