We are looking for an Enterprise Network Services Engineer that will provide network support for all the Medical Treatment Facilities in the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Enterprise around the world.

**THIS IS A 100% REMOTE POSITION**

You Will:

  • Work with on-site personnel and other network specialists to troubleshoot issues
  • Be responsible for assisting with maintaining connectivity for DHA hospitals and working with internal and external customers daily
  • Troubleshoot network security solutions related to routing, load balancing, and application delivery
  • Work in a team setting and make recommendations related to troubleshooting, device configuration, and documentation
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner dealing with a variety of different network devices to include Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco routers/switches, and F5 load balancers

You Have:

  • A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Active Secret level Security Clearance
  • Strong background in programming and automation
  • 6-9+ years relevant experience in supporting WAN/LAN technologies (Routing Protocols)
  • A strong working knowledge with Cisco Routers/Switches, Palo Alto Firewalls, and F5 devices
  • Experience using automation and scripting to improve manual processes
  • A good understanding of TCP/IP regarding routing and subnetting
  • Must be a team player that can work under pressure with good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with the following Network protocols and services:
    • Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP)
    • Access Control Lists
    • Layer 2 Switching
    • Spanning Tree
    • Packet Analysis
    • F5’s

Certification:

  • Security Certification (Security+ CE, CCNP Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SCCP)
  • Cisco (CCNA or CCNP) or F5 OS Certification
