Job summary

CDW Canada is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support an enterprise network during a critical operations period in Edmonton. The role focuses on stability, troubleshooting, deployment of new infrastructure, and day-to-day operational support across multiple locations.

You will work with Cisco Meraki, VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN, and Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN, handling incidents, hardware deployments, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Enterprise network experience required.
• Hands-on Cisco Meraki experience.
• VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN expertise.
• Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN (ION) experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.
• LAN/WAN networking knowledge.
• VPN implementation and support experience.
• Excellent documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Monitor network health, availability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, wireless, and connectivity issues.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain network hardware and infrastructure components.
• Support Cisco Meraki environments including routing, switching, wireless, and security.
• Administer VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN environments and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Manage Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN (ION) infrastructure.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and technical teams to resolve incidents.
• Participate in network upgrades, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure projects.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term stability solutions.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Support change management activities and ensure operational standards.
• Assist with capacity planning and network optimization initiatives.
