Job description

What You’ll Do

You will be an integral team member with key technical and analytic expertise. The position will work closely with IT development team and Finance group to implement and deliver system changes, operational environment, and interactions with 3rdparty vendors.

You will be supporting financial application upgrades and participate in maintaining overall health of the financial platform – monitoring, capacity planning, tuning, performance optimization, supporting IT team in backups and recovery. You will monitor and troubleshoot issues relating to legal applications (Intapp; Thomson Reuters Elite 3E, E-Billing HUB, ARCS Collections and Cosine Broadcasts) and provide solutions or collaborate with IT development team, product support and third-party vendors in streamlining resolution. You will review enhancement requests and work with business subject matter experts (SME) to ensure functional requirements are full documented and changes implemented.

You will provide technical guidance for the financial application platforms and perform regression and integration testing to ensure all development change is tested end-to-end and maintain documentation. You will respond to inquiries within SLA resolution timelines. You will work closely with IT, Finance and EPMO group to schedule and implementing annual projects and tasks. Finally, you will thrive in this dynamic team and will continue the commitment to constantly improve the systems and processes to solve problems and enhance system efficiencies within the Firm.

What You Bring

  • College Diploma or University degree in Computer Science or Accounting with a minimum of 7 years related progressive experience in IT
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working with financial applications platforms
  • Minimum of 4 years SQL server and relational database skills
  • Experiencewith Thomson Reuters Elite 3E financial application platform is an asset
  • Experience with Elite IDE intApp Open is an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office : Excel (Advanced Level Macros)
  • Prior experience with Power Automate and PowerBI is an asset
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following ; Java, JavaScript, PHP, C#, VB, Objective-C, C / C++, Python, ASP. NET is considered an asset
  • Demonstrates high degree of problem-solving skills and ability to consistently exercise sound judgment and initiative in all circumstances, including very stressful situations. Must be able to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in creating appropriate system documentation is essential
  • Strong analytical, accounting, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Abilityto promote a collaborative work / team environment by presenting a professional and responsive attitude towards others and by demonstrating prompt and conscientious work habits
  • LawFirm or Professional Services experience is also an asset
