Responsibilities:

1. Oversee BIS Application Portfolio strategy, Enterprise end-to-end process alignment, adherence to Enterprise Data Governance, and compliance with Security Standards.
2. Lead Technology Transformation planning in enablement of Business Transformation Strategy.
3. Collaborate with Domain Architects representing business priorities to establish overall Enterprise Portfolio Roadmap and disposition planning.
4. Govern cross vendor technology platform integration (DB, Application, Storage, Middleware, API, Web, Mobile, Micro services, User Clients) and drive Application simplification initiatives.
5. Lead Enterprise Architecture framework & Governance, Standards / Standard Solution Building Blocks / Pilot / POC, and overall Portfolio planning.
6. Support application development framework in collaboration with Domain Architects and Business Operations Technology development teams adhering to standards and Cyber guardrails.
7. Establish innovation and prototype framework extending adoption and accelerate value realization integrated with user feedback.
8. Mentor application developers, integration teams, data specialists, and user experience teams aligning to Enterprise Platform strategy.
9. Establish Application Portfolio Strategy, integrating Enterprise Application Platforms and Technology Roadmaps with balanced TCO controls/Operational Readiness in coordination with PMO.
10. Participate in Architecture Review Board process, governance, and effectiveness addressing Solution Architecture, Design Authorities, integration planning, Configuration Management, Cyber assurance, and Roadmap convergence.
11. Bring together the holistic view of overall Enterprise Architecture capabilities and state of the union across Bombardier digital footprint.
12. Establish technology innovation, assessment, and adoption framework in strong partnership across domain experts to deliver cyber-hardened / user-centric operating experience and design thinking.
13. Monitor changes and advancements in technology to discover ways Bombardier can gain competitive advantage.
14. Initiate and foster strong alignment and collaboration with project teams, cyber, peers, colleagues, and executive management.
15. Provide technical capability & skillset assessment in support of BIS Technical Talent planning and core competency management.

How to thrive in this role?

1. You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical programs.
2. You have 10 years experience as Technology Architect supporting Application Integration, Application development, Portfolio Management, Cloud Services, and Enterprise Architecture.
3. You have 7 years hands-on experience in Enterprise Platform deployment, integration, operations management.
4. You have 4 years experience with working knowledge of Cloud architecture planning.
5. You have experience in implementation of Enterprise Architecture framework (TOGAF or equivalent).
6. You have a minimum of 5 years in Program management role.
7. You have a good understanding of cloud security principles (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS with Azure or AWS).
8. You have strong communication skills and ability to build/maintain long-term business relationships.
9. You have leadership skills in leading meetings with diversified audiences (technical, senior management).
10. You have experience in Agile / Scrum methodology.
11. You have a business proficient level of English (with French a strong plus).
