Info-Tech Research Group, a wholly owned Canadian company, is building a team of field sales executives to help us continue to grow our membership and support IT and business leaders and their teams. With over 20 years of consistent growth, we are seeking to add a remote field sales team member located in Ottawa.

  • Have 10+ years of experience in a sales role serving technology and business leaders within the public sector, with a proven track record of success.
  • Are motivated to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Prefer a modern sales environment and have experience with CRMs like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Are excited to develop new skills through weekly 1-to-1 coaching and departmental training.
  • Can build and maintain trust-based, value-added relationships with CxO-level technology and business leaders.
  • Are passionate about advising the public sector to improve citizens' lives in Ottawa.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the full suite of Info-Tech products and services, providing an integrated value proposition to clients.
  • Consistently prospect and generate leads targeting the right buying centers, leveraging online resources, sales tools, and marketing campaigns.
  • Work with marketing leads and conduct warm calls in your territory to schedule onsite sales presentations.
  • Customize PowerPoint presentations for sales meetings to suit the audience.
  • Conduct sales appointments demonstrating product knowledge and following our sales methodologies.
  • Manage sales opportunities efficiently through the pipeline.
  • Participate actively in sales coaching and training, demonstrating a commitment to personal growth.
  • Provide feedback to senior leadership to improve sales strategies, marketing, and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with the research department to include analysts in sales presentations as needed.

Key Selection Criteria :

  • Experience selling to IT and business leaders is preferred.
  • Experience selling IT research, advisory, and consulting services is an asset.
  • Experience selling IT products/services to the public sector in Ottawa.
  • Ability to build and sustain trusted relationships with C-level executives and staff.
  • Skilled in value-based client conversations.
  • Strong listening, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a flexible, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Curiosity about IT's impact on business and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Willingness to travel for onsite meetings.
  • Home office setup for remote work.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree required.
  • Valid passport or enhanced license for US travel.
  • Valid driver’s license.
