Job summary

Alberta Health Services is recruiting for a Physician Assistant to join the ENT team at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton. The PA will provide direct patient care under supervision, participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, and support discharge planning and education for diverse medical conditions.

This temporary full-time position reports to the Primary Supervising Physician and Edmonton Zone Acute Care Manager, with 7.75-hour shifts and day shifts in the Edmonton Zone.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Physician Assistant education program.
• Certified PA with CCPA or PA-C and CPSA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to patients within the PA skill matrix.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, order tests, and plan management under supervision.
• Document all patient care and contribute to discharge planning and education.
