As a member of the team, you will be providing a high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person-centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.

About the Role:

  • Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
  • Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Diploma of Nursing or similar
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
  • Good coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong customer-centric approach to business
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
