18.00 / hr - $19.00 / hr

We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Enrober Operator to join the BAR DIVISION at our ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA location. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

Shift Hours : 3pm - 3 : 30am; weekend availability required

Summary

Responsible for melting proper coating for production. Verify that coating confirms to customers specifications on recipe / batch documents.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure that the correct RM number is melted for assigned production line.
• Ensure temperature in melters and enrobers are within specification.
• Ensure melters have abundant amount of coating during daily production and for next day production.
• Able assemble and disassemble Enrober machinery
• Signs-off appropriate documentation.
• Ensure that Enrober kept clean and in working order at start up / change over.
• Maintain working area in clean and clear manner.
• Must have working knowledge of FSP / GMP.
• Visual inspection of coating before melt.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skill And Experience

Food Safety Training

Mechanical aptitude

Intermediate communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine correspondence, instructions and procedures. Bilingual speaking skills in both English and Spanish preferred.

Able to work in high stress / speed environment and be able to deal with emergency situations with calmness

Basic math skills : Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions. Able to compute ratios and percentages. Be able to use a calculator.

Strong teamwork skills and ability to foster a positive and productive environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a food manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

Lifting up to 50 lbs.

Make minor adjustments to equipment with tools.

Standing for extended amount of time.

Squatting to make line adjustments.
