Heritage Preparatory School is a Pre-K through 12th grade classical, Christian school located in midtown Atlanta, GA. POSITION SUMMARY

Heritage Preparatory School seeks a talented individual to serve as the Enrichment II (Kindergarten) teacher. Applicants must be certified in Orton-Gillingham at the Educator level or must be willing to undergo Orton-Gillingham training and certification at the school’s expense. The ideal candidate will be proficient in teaching phonics and laying the foundation for students to become strong readers as well as someone who desires to help children develop godly habits at an early age and who has the ability to foster intellectual curiosity in students.

Title: Enrichment II (Kindergarten) teacher

Status: Full-time or part-time, beginning in August 2025

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience

Hours of Work: The school day for EII students is 8:00 am – noon, five days per week. The EII teacher would need to be on campus 7:15-1:00 pm each day, and there are opportunities for leading afterschool clubs until 2:30 for Enrichment students, if additional hours are desired.

EXPERIENCE
Two years of teaching experience preferred with exceptions granted for outstanding candidates with demonstrated teaching gifts. Mastery of subject matters to be taught, as demonstrated by references, education, and achievement.
