Job summary

BrightPath Kids at Matheson West, ON is seeking a Part-Time Contract Enhanced Support Worker to work with teachers and children, providing support to children with special needs.

The role requires an Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) or Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE), with current First Aid/CPR and provincial childcare credentials, and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. No evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in childcare or with children who have diverse needs preferred.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment per local requirements.
• Meet provincial childcare employment requirements.
• Clear communication with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support children with varying degrees of need in class.
• Plan and implement programming based on children’s needs.
• Support other classroom staff.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment for children.
• Communicate effectively with families to build relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
