Oxford Learning Centres Inc. is looking for a dedicated part-time English & Math Teacher/Tutor to join our Kerrisdale location. The ideal candidate enjoys working with students and has strong skills in teaching English and Math.

This role requires commitment to work 2–4 days a week, primarily in the evenings. Candidates must have a relevant educational background and experience at the Kindergarten-to-Grade 12 level. Salary is $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Some experience teaching/tutoring at Kindergarten-to-Grade 12 level.
• Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten-to-Grade 12 curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at once at different levels.
• Provide instruction in-person and online.
• Complete daily student communication updates.

Part‑Time English & Math Teacher/Tutor

Oxford Learning Kerrisdale is seeking part‑time teacher‑tutors for our learning centre. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with students, teaching English and Math, and building skills.

The position is in‑person; applicants must be able to commute to Kerrisdale, Vancouver, BC.

Position Requirements

• Work 2–4 days a week from 3:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m., and/or Saturdays 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.; commitment for the school year preferred.
• Vulnerable‑sector screening required.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field, or university students with extensive tutoring experience considered.
• Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten‑to‑Grade 12 curriculum.

Experience

• Some experience teaching/tutoring at Kindergarten‑to‑Grade 12 (or equivalent) level.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work with up to three students simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at once at different levels.
• Provide instruction in‑person and online.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Complete daily student communication updates.
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.
