A local government organization in Penticton is seeking an Engineering Technologist I to provide engineering technical services for public works projects. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in engineering technology and experience in project management. Responsibilities include managing projects, reviewing engineering drawings, and providing technical support. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of $44.64 per hour plus benefits.

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen is currently recruiting for a regular, full-time Engineering Technologist I to join the Public Works team. The Engineering Technologist I position is responsible for providing engineering technical services to support the achievement of project and program objectives in support of the organization’s strategic priorities.

This regular, full-time position is included in the BCGEU bargaining unit. The hourly wage for the position is $44.64, plus a $2.00 / hour adjustment for recruitment / retention purposes. This full-time role also comes with an attractive benefits package, as well as a flexible schedule that permits a reduced workweek.
