Main Purpose and Function
The Engineering Technician I inspects, monitors, and reports the daily work of construction teams engaged in a variety of construction, utility, and field installations, based on technical requirements and specifications required by various infrastructure projects through internal engineering operations and design branches, while providing a variety of construction materials quality control and assurance technical tasks, measurements, evaluations, testing, and reporting . Provides recommendations to engineers, project managers, contractors, and City crews

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Education and Experience:
Completion of the twelfth school grade supplemented by technical courses in asphalt, concrete, soils and municipal or public works inspection, or other courses related to the work. Considerable related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
