• Prior field construction experience is an asset.

We are seeking an Engineering Student, for our Saskatoon District within our Canadian Buildings Division, available for 4, 8, 12 or 16 months starting January 2026.

Responsibilities

• Report deficiencies by going on various site visits.
• Monitor and coordinate trade scopes of work.
• Coordinate and update field drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Participate in project meetings and work closely with seasoned project professionals.
• Conduct trade contractor quote reviews.
• Visit some of our projects and job sites, take progress photos, and monitor deficiency logs, contributing to project success.
• Perform bid day assignments and overall bid document control, with ownership shared by all team members, including students.
• Assist with on-site problem solving.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment; prior field construction experience is an asset.
• Familiarity with computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and drafting.
• Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp is considered an asset.
