Brandt Group of Companies, a leader in the agricultural industry, is seeking an Engineering Team Lead - Tillage to join our dynamic team in Regina, Saskatchewan. This position is pivotal in driving the success of our tillage platform by overseeing the management, design, project planning, and estimating processes.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Brandt team. This is an exciting full time permanent position, offering the opportunity to lead and innovate within a respected industry player.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the business and technical head of the engineering platform, the Engineering Team Lead - Tillage will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects to our internal customers and serve as the technical expert for the tillage platform. The role involves developing, mentoring, and retaining a high-quality design staff, ensuring that our team is equipped with the skills and motivation to meet and exceed our objectives.
A key aspect of this position is to identify and mitigate technical and business risks related to the engineering design of our tillage products. The Platform Team Lead will also be responsible for developing design concepts and directions that will ensure the long-term profitability of the platform. Collaboration with customer support to provide technical assistance for field issues is essential, as is working with business development leads to identify areas for improvement in cost, quality, and feature offerings. Field research and occasional business travel are required components of this role.
