Details

We are seeking an Engineering Student for our Systems Design Engineering Department at our Brampton office.

This role is designed to be similar to a new graduate position, with tasks assigned based on your level of education and experience. It is a 12-16 month term starting in September 2025.

As an Engineering Student, you will collaborate with senior systems engineers on departmental continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements supporting space and planetary exploration robotic projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Front-end and back-end web development programming (e.g., Java, Tailwind CSS)
  • Supporting other engineering team members
  • Documenting work and participating in system-level technical discussions
Bonus:
  • System requirements derivation and documentation
Qualifications:

Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Engineering Physics, Software or Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Physics, with at least three (3) years completed.

  • Must be enrolled in your university’s formal internship program
  • Please include your transcript with your application
  • Strong mathematical skills and experience in system design and modeling are required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
Additional Notes:

Successful candidates must obtain and maintain security clearance at the reliability status level and pass security assessments for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
