Canadian Natural Resources Limited in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Project Controls Student to support the Facilities Project Controls Team. You will develop knowledge in planning & scheduling and cost management while supporting project teams for thermal and conventional facilities.

The role is 4 months long, with a 5 days on/2 days off schedule, starting May 2027, located at Head Office Calgary. Safety sensitivity is No. You will work with Microsoft Office and build data reporting skills.

• Currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program in Construction Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of Construction Management Principles.

As a Project Controls Student, you will be a part of the Facilities Project Controls Team and will assist in the support of various facility major projects. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of planning & scheduling and project cost management. Reporting to the Manager of Project Controls, you will be working with project teams for both thermal and conventional facilities.

• Job location: Calgary, Alberta - Head Office
• Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours per day (Monday - Friday)
• Term length: 4 months
• Term start: May 2027
• Safety sensitive position: No

What You Bring To The Role

• Currently enrolled in a full time, post-secondary program focused in Construction Management or related Program
• Good understanding of Construction Management Principles
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good understanding of data analytics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
