Job summary

A leading space engineering company in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue is seeking motivated Mechanical Engineering interns for a 4 or 8 month internship starting January 2026. Responsibilities include CAD design, creation of 3D models, and support in engineering processes. Candidates should have completed their second year in the program and possess strong initiative and communication skills. Bilingualism and experience with 3D modeling are desirable.

Role

We are looking for motivated and talented Engineering student in Mechanical Engineering for our Sainte-Anne-de Bellevue office. This is a 4 or 8 months internship starting in January 2026.

The successful candidate’s work scope would be similar to that of a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design following a training on CAD using Siemens Nx software and an introduction to geometric tolerancing;
• Creation of 3D CAD models with associated drawings and documentation;
• Participation in team meetings and brainstorming sessions;
• Creation of mass budgets and parts lists as well as support to purchasing and manufacturing activities.

Experience and skills required

• Having completed a second year in the bachelor of Mechanical Engineering program including a course in 3D modelling;
• Dynamic, communicative and has a desire to learn;
• A person who takes initiative and is proactive.

Desirable skills

• Having completed the third year in a Mechanical Engineering bachelor;
• Having experience in 3D modelling and drawings and previous technical internships;
• Having a GPA greater than 3.0/4.0;
• Bilingual.
