Job summary

Suncor offers student opportunities for undergraduate Materials and Metallurgical Engineering students. These term roles (4, 8, 12, or 16 months) begin in May 2027 and may be located in Calgary, St. John's, Fort Hills, or Fort McMurray.

Selected students will gain meaningful experience, connect with senior leaders, and may receive relocation support or a cash allowance for Fort McMurray. Applicants should be current engineering students planning to return to full-time studies and attach

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Engineering program with a materials or metallurgical focus.
  • You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term.

Minimum requirements:

Location & other key details:
  • This is a/an 4, 8, 12, or 16-month term commitment beginning in May 2027. You will be asked to indicate your availability in your application
  • Potential locations for these student roles include Calgary, St. John's, Fort Hills (fly in fly out) and Fort McMurray (Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo). You will be asked to indicate your location preferences in your application
