Your Role

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company specializing in lifting systems, located in Boisbriand. They are looking for an Engineering Project Manager for a permanent position (40 hours/week), with 50% remote work and flexible hours.

Reporting to the Engineering Director, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Full management of engineering projects, from design to delivery
  2. Analyzing client needs and developing tailored technical solutions
  3. Designing and validating lifting systems for infrastructure
  4. Coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders (production, clients, suppliers, subcontractors)
  5. Monitoring project costs, timelines, and quality
  6. Writing technical documentation and progress reports
  7. Participating in equipment testing and validation before delivery
  8. Other related tasks as required by the role
Your Skills
  • Project management and coordination of technical teams
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle inquiries from clients and management
Your Profile
  • University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant Engineering discipline
  • OIQ membership is an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering project management
  • Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector, ideally in hydropower or lifting systems
  • Proficiency in project management tools
  • Bilingual (English/French)

The use of English is required for this role due to:

  • Communication with North American clients
  • Collaboration with English-speaking partners
  • Writing documents in English
