TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with a trusted leader in the HVAC industry in North America. Our client, a manufacturer and distributor with a comprehensive product line, is seeking an Engineering Salesperson for their Kelowna branch.

The Engineering Salesperson will service the engineering community by understanding, engineering, and detailing the selection of components, systems, and solutions for HVAC designs. Good communication skills, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000

Primary Duties
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders to grow sales and market share.
  • Maintain a presence in the engineering community to ensure product specifications on projects.
  • Understand client needs and provide suitable technical solutions.
  • Stay current with industry and local codes, regulations, and market trends.
  • Provide outstanding customer service with a Customer First approach.
  • Continuously learn about new products and attend manufacturer training, including travel when possible.
  • Build and sustain customer relationships through open communication.
  • Cross-train on mechanical and air-side products to identify opportunities.
  • Participate in industry associations like ASHRAE and attend related meetings.
  • Conduct presentations and assist with product launches.
  • Attend industry events and support customer engagement activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience with HVAC knowledge.
  • University degree or college diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • PEng designation is an asset.
  • Ability to read architectural and mechanical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Self-motivated, creative, resourceful, and able to work independently under pressure.
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset.
  • Strong work ethic rooted in integrity and respect.
