Job summary

AAA Canada in Mirabel is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead Project Control and Analytics. You will plan, coordinate and oversee configuration management for major aerospace programs, ensuring deliverables align with requirements and schedules.

A Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or a related field and 4–7 years of configuration management experience, change control, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace-related field or in a relevant discipline.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in configuration management or in a comparable manufacturing or aeronautical environment.
• Good knowledge of configuration management and change control processes.
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary projects and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a structured, regulated and quality-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and ensure the execution of configuration management activities for assigned programs, projects or components.
• Be responsible for configuration management deliverables, including change control, product structure updates, and associated documentation.
• Identify items to be submitted for official configuration control.
• Define the requirements as well as the functional and physical characteristics of the configuration items.
• Ensure configuration control to manage, document and approve product changes.
• Organize, facilitate and ensure the smooth running of the Configuration Control Boards (CCB).
• Maintain Configuration Status Accounting by recording, tracking and communicating configuration status.
• Perform configuration verification and audit activities to confirm product compliance with established requirements.
• Work closely with program, engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing and customer support teams to ensure effective configuration management.
• Comply with the company's compliance, ethics and integrity policies to contribute to its reputation, success and sustainable growth.

Education

Bachelor's degree in aerospace or related field

4–7 years of experience in configuration management
