Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• At least 2 years of people management experience
• Proven track record delivering production software
• Strong prioritization and execution skills

• Experience in privacy-sensitive product domains or ability to learn quickly

Responsibilities

• Mentor, support, and develop a team of software engineers, helping them grow in impact and craft
• Lead your team through delivery of Firefox Suggest Ads initiatives, including backend services and integrations
• Partner with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to navigate ambiguity and shape technical decisions
• Ensure the software your team builds is reliable, maintainable, and aligned with Mozilla’s quality, security, and privacy standards
• Create an environment where engineers can do their best work with clear communication and structured processes
