Job summary
Hexagon Mining is seeking an Engineering Manager to build and lead a high-performing software/engineering team that delivers valuable, technically sound solutions for customers. You will be the DRI for a product, platform, or technology area, combining people management with technical leadership.
You will guide design decisions, mentor contributors, collaborate with Product Management, ensure delivery with quality, and foster a healthy engineering culture across geographies as Hexagon evolves
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience leading engineers, including people and technical leadership.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with complex, customer-facing products.
- Solid knowledge of modern software practices, architecture, testing, DevOps, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Guide technical direction and mentor contributors to deliver sound outcomes.
- Collaborate with Product Management to translate customer problems into value.
- Ensure delivery of project scope, schedule, and quality.
- Maintain health, governance, and development practices of the engineering platform.
- Foster cross-functional relationships and an evolving engineering culture.
