About the Role

We are hiring an Engineering Manager for IAM to lead the development of secure identity and access management solutions using high-performing Go and Python services. You will work on projects like Ubuntu One SSO, Juju, LXD, and MAAS, defining how users and clients access open source applications across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performance engineering team
• Design and implement complex distributed systems
• Work with upstream open source projects and internal teams
• Manage software development lifecycle, including coding, reviews, and documentation
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of IAM solutions
• Collaborate with product management to define technical vision

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in software engineering teams
• Experience with Go and Python development
• Knowledge of distributed systems, container tech, and Kubernetes
• Understanding of security, performance, and IAM standards (desirable)
• Excellent communication skills in English
