We are hiring an Engineering Manager for Ceph & Distributed Storage. The world creates over 2.5 quintillion bytes of data daily! We aim to help teams store data in open source storage on commodity hardware—safely, cheaply, and simply.
Our goal is to make Ceph easy to install, manage, and use—from large enterprise data centers to edge sites. Distributed storage should be straightforward, and we are committed to making it accessible for everyone.
As an engineering manager at Canonical, you should be technically strong, responsible for running an effective team, and developing your colleagues. You will help them grow, perform outstanding work, find satisfaction, and collaborate well. Technical leadership and a background in software engineering are prerequisites. You will lead, challenge, and develop engineers, influence culture, facilitate delivery, and work on strategy and execution. You will oversee sound software architecture, quality, testing, and documentation.
