Join our team! We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to guide the development of our next-generation CoCounsel product. In this role, you’ll empower a team of talented engineers, oversee the end-to-end creation of robust UI and backend systems, and influence strategic decisions that drive our product forward.

About the Role:

  1. Lead & Inspire: Manage a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth.
  2. Architect & Build: Oversee the design and implementation of UI and backend solutions using modern frameworks and technologies, stepping in to code when necessary.
  3. Strategize & Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams—product managers, designers, and other leaders—to define product strategy, set technical direction, and deliver innovative features.
  4. Drive Execution: Own the team roadmap and project lifecycle, ensuring that initiatives move from ideation to successful production launches.
  5. Mentor & Develop: Coach engineers, support professional development, and cultivate an environment where everyone can excel.
  6. Measure Impact: Define success metrics to track and evaluate project outcomes, using data-driven insights to guide future decisions.
  7. Shape Technology: Provide guidance on architecture, design, and best practices for front-end and back-end development.
  8. Recruit & Grow: Play a pivotal role in hiring top engineering talent and expanding the team’s capabilities.

About You:

  1. Technical Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience and a proven track record leading the development of scalable, web-based solutions.
  2. Front-end & Back-end Mastery: Experience with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or similar), TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
  3. AI Familiarity: Comfortable with AI technologies, including GenAI concepts like prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and fine-tuning.
  4. Team Leadership: 2+ years of managing engineering teams, with success in coaching, mentoring, and nurturing talent.
  5. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to navigate ambiguity, make data-driven decisions, and deliver impactful results in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strategic Mindset: Adept at driving product innovation and ensuring that technical decisions align with broader business goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  2. Proven success in recruiting, managing performance, and cultivating a positive team culture.
  3. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
