Ads and Promotions is one of the core features of the DoorDash business which helps our customers access the most quality and affordable selection for their needs. The Ads Demand team plays a crucial role within the Ads and Promos organization and is responsible for Marketing capabilities of the platform. Our mission is to empower businesses with marketing tools to connect with their customers efficiently by creating best in class advertising solutions serving Restaurants, Brands and DoorDash internal use cases.
As the Engineering Manager, you will oversee a talented group of engineers, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and sales partners. Your primary responsibility will be driving the successful execution of our product roadmap, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet both customer needs and business objectives. You will be a key player in fostering a collaborative and cross-functional work environment, promoting effective communication and synergy amongst team members. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can balance technical excellence with business priorities.
The Engineering Manager will own, build and maintain all platforms related to Ads and Promotions Campaign Platform. The team owns the source of truth of all types of campaigns and features required for DoorDash advertisers as well as internal marketing campaigns. The team owns real-time streaming solutions to ensure campaign metadata is propagated to all downstream systems, designs data models to support various features required, and owns the source of truth campaign data model. You will be working on the latest cutting-edge streaming technologies to build platform features for our advertisers.
