Job description

Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams working with professionals to deliver high quality projects on time and within budget

Be a champion for practical solutions for projects and operations leveraging our existing foundation of global best practices

Analyzing relevant data for proper performance of designs.

Proactively communicate issues across the operation.

Actively mentor and develop staff in your team in the interests of their long-term career objectives and operational needs

Coordinate team tasks and review technical solutions for design

Develop and maintain functionality customer requirements and competitiveness for the product range

Work in conjunction with manufacturing product support and suppliers

Other duties as assigned

What you will bring along

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mining Engineering would be a definite asset)

A minimum of 5 years of practical experience with mobile machinery and product development

Previous experience managing a team

Knowledge of machine subsystems and defining size / technique

Demonstrated customer service and communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently in a fast pace environment

Occasional travel within North America may be required.

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Environmental Health and Safety

Comply with safety policies and applicable government customer or industry regulations or requirements.

Responsible for identifying and reporting any unsafe work habits workplace incidents and / or near misses. Perform risk assessments (Take Five) prior to each task.

Maintain hand tools and equipment to ensure safe operation.

Maintain orderly work area and ensure housekeeping requirements are met.

Attend Environmental Health and Safety related trainings.

Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) assigned for each task.
