Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an Engineering Manager for a prominent position in Trenton, ON. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership to engineering teams, drive operational excellence, and be responsible for developing and implementing key engineering policies. The ideal candidate will hold a post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering and have substantial management experience in a manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Engineering Manager experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 certification systems a definite asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership to engineering teams.
• Develop and implement engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
• Drive operational excellence through Engineering methodologies.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing plant.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years related Engineering Manager experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 certification systems a definite asset.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
