Your team :

The Performance team's mission is to provide expertise in all stages of track and system validation. Our validation centre employs innovative and progressive methods and relies on a dedicated team of individuals. More than 800 physical tests and validations are conducted each year, ensuring our customers receive reliable, at the cutting edge of technology.

Your role :

As part of the Performance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, designers and analysts. His/her role will be to support the needs of our internal and external collaborators for test bench designs and numerical simulations. As part of his/her mandate, the person will also be responsible for coordinating the engineering activities of his/her team in the execution of various projects and mandates. In addition, the person will be responsible for overseeing the optimization of numerical models to increase efficiency while maintaining the quality of information provided to collaborators.


What we need you for :

Lead an engineering team to ensure the proper design of our test rigs (on specification, on budget and on schedule).
Lead a team of analysts (in-house and consultant) to ensure the structural integrity of track system components and tracks meeting the performance requirements of collaborators (local and international team).
Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external collaborators and guide engineering exchanges with customers.
Ensure the improvement of our processes and the development of new innovative approaches.
Contribute actively to the development of the team's professions.
Ensure the development of team members.

What do you need to possess for being successful :

You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
You have more than 3 years' relevant experience in team management.
You have more than 10 years' relevant experience in mechanical or structural engineering and equipment design or product development, from ideation to commissioning.
You are familiar with the principles of finite element analysis.
You are at ease in a bilingual environment (French and English), so that you can communicate orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partner.
You know how to manage different projects simultaneously, and handle pressure and multiple priorities with autonomy and initiative.
You have effective communication skills with peers, management, employees, customers and suppliers.
You are available to travel internationally about 10% of the time.
