Canada Royal Milk in Kingston, Ontario, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead engineering, maintenance and utility operations. This role reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates with Production, QA, Supply Chain, HR and HSE to ensure safe, compliant operations and achievement of production targets.
The Manager will develop an effective team, uphold a culture of safety, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring regulatory compliance and product safety across the facility.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Engineering Manager directs and controls the plant’s engineering, maintenance, and utility operations. The Manager works cooperatively with Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Human Resources and Health, Safety & Environment to accomplish the goals and objectives of the company. The Manager ensures the operation of Canada Royal Milk’s mechanical, electrical and utility systems in accordance with all applicable regulations.
The Manager is dedicated to achieving production and quality targets, and creates an environment where employees take pride in their work. An experienced leader, the Manager will be responsible for developing an effective team.
The Manager ensures that there exists, within the engineering team, an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations. All member of the department are encouraged never to implement any change, whether directly instructed to, or under his/her own initiative, without first questioning its impact in relation to product safety/quality, people safety and the environment. No compromises should be tolerated.

Job Requirements
Education: Engineering Degree preferably in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
Experience:
This role requires flexibility to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation. The Maintenance Supervisor may be required to work outside regular business hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on production needs.
