Cymax Group Technologies is a leading eCommerce technology and logistics services platform for big & bulky vendors and retailers. We maximize the best of technology, automation, and AI to simplify the complexities of eCommerce through our two products - Channel Gate and Freight Club. We partner with vendors and retailers to tackle some of the industry’s biggest challenges, offering prescriptive recommendations to optimize their ROI in a competitive market. Our remote-flexible team works to support our partners from the US and Canada.

Join Our Team as an Engineering Delivery Lead at Cymax Group Technologies!
About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Engineering Delivery Lead to drive flow efficiency, cross-team coordination, and delivery excellence across our product and engineering teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring that work moves smoothly from intake to release, blockers are resolved swiftly, and stakeholders have clear visibility into progress and outcomes.

The Engineering Delivery Lead will act as the central steward of agile ceremonies, backlog health, release orchestration, and incident response, while also maintaining delivery metrics and compliance artefacts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex coordination challenges, and is passionate about enabling high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Facilitation & Team Enablement

  • Curate sprint backlogs and facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives).
  • Ensure Definition-of-Ready and Definition-of-Done are upheld.
  • Time-box discussions and record actionable outcomes.

Backlog Management & Prioritization

  • Triage incoming work requests from multiple channels.
  • Coordinate estimation workshops and backlog grooming.
  • Harmonize multiple intake queues across teams.

Cross-Team & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Maintain a dependency log and proactively communicate upcoming changes.
  • Align infrastructure, security, and DBA teams during sprint planning.
  • Facilitate joint reviews and roadmap alignment.

Release Orchestration

  • Draft release tickets, run-books, and rollback plans.
  • Schedule deployment windows and oversee post-deploy verification.
  • Enforce release-train discipline and stop-the-line authority when needed.

Incident Response & Triage

  • Monitor ticket queues and alerts; apply severity levels and SLAs.
  • Form rapid-response squads and lead customer communications.
  • Maintain blameless incident templates and resolution playbooks.

Delivery Metrics & Reporting

  • Generate velocity, WIP age, and defect escape charts.
  • Publish weekly summaries and monthly retrospectives for leadership.
  • Provide visibility into sprint outcomes and project timelines.

Tooling & Governance

  • Administer JIRA workflows, Confluence spaces, and automation hygiene.
  • Ensure audit-readiness of release notes, time logs, and approvals.
  • Review timesheet linkage and correct mis-logged tickets.

Project & Initiative Management

  • Facilitate business-case canvases and discovery workshops.
  • Maintain project charters and track outcomes.

Operational Alignment & Compliance

  • Align operational backlogs with product priorities.
  • Govern account lifecycle and access reviews.
  • Support Finance and Audit teams with timely artefact delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in Agile Delivery, Scrum Mastery, or Program Management.
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and agile reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience in incident management and release coordination is a plus.
What Success Looks Like
  • Reduced cycle times and rework through proactive task shepherding.
  • Increased stakeholder visibility via unified dashboards and concise reporting.
  • Faster incident resolution and improved customer trust.
  • Harmonized cross-team dependencies and fewer after-hours escalations.
  • Audit artefacts accessible within minutes, not days.
Core Values
  • Grit & Agility: Forge ahead, pivot fast.
  • Accountability: Bring it, own it, commit.
  • Go the Extra Mile: We go above and beyond.
  • Understand the Map & the Terrain: Master the details and the big picture.
  • Data Drives Decisions: Absorb complexity and transmit clarity.
  • Think Beyond Today: Tomorrow's vision, today's action.
