A Day in the Life:
Audit Machinery Capabilities: Perform comprehensive audits of the capabilities of our CNC and other machinery to ensure optimal performance and identify areas for improvement.
Develop Training Documentation: Assist in creating detailed documentation and training materials for new machine operators to ensure consistent and safe operation of equipment.
Review and Improve Operations: Analyze current machine operations, recommend best practices, and implement improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Support Projects: Assist with various engineering projects as needed (ex. AI research and its applications in manufacturing etc.), contributing to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.
All other duties as required.
What You Bring:
Currently enrolled in a Post-Secondary Engineering Program; preference will be given to candidates from industrial (and related) engineering programs.
Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize deadlines.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Proficient with MS Office Suite.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and with CNC machines considered assets.
