Our Transportation Engineering department seeks a project manager to work out of our Barrie, Collingwood, or Guelph office to lead transportation design projects. Projects include the functional, preliminary, and detail designs of roads, highways, intersections, active transportation facilities, traffic signals, and Class Environmental Assessments. Responsibilities include planning, design, and approval of road and highway reconstruction projects and related studies. The successful candidate will:

  1. Manage multidisciplinary projects ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.
  2. Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.
  3. Assign and review project team work and coordinate with subconsultants.
  4. Coordinate with utility and approval authorities.
  5. Engage with clients through meetings, updates, and presentations.
  6. Write technical reports.
  7. Prepare budgets, work plans, and schedules for proposals.
Key Position Requirements
  • Registered with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Desire to succeed and achieve goals.
