Job description

Job Title: Production Engineers

SUMMARY

This position provides leadership to all operations in an assigned production department. It requires close coordination and communication with the Production, Maintenance, and Headquarters to ensure production operations meet customer requirements. The role is for MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC. (MNAe).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Develop and maintain engineering documents such as Work Standards, Control Plans, PFMEA, Work Instructions, etc.
  2. Monitor daily production efficiency and implement activities to meet KPIs.
  3. Ensure product and process quality meet specifications.
  4. Improve manufacturing efficiency through analysis and planning of production processes, logistics, and equipment layout.
  5. Support and lead continuous improvement, problem-solving, and process improvement activities.
  6. Implement activities aimed at scrap reduction, cycle time reduction, and minimizing downtime.
  7. Ensure adherence to standard processes for data collection, documentation, and reporting.
  8. Generate and execute ideas for cost reduction, labor savings, material flow, and safety improvements.
  9. Communicate with departments such as QA, Maintenance, Research, HQ, and Business Services to resolve issues.
  10. Ensure production teams utilize standardized work practices across shifts and areas.
  11. Review process machine and tooling specifications and confirm manufacturing specifications.
  12. Support training of production members on products and processes.
  13. Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Ability to draw using CAD software (Autodesk)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (English/Korean) is preferred but not required
