About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Scientist, Water Modelling, the Engineer or Scientist, Water Modelling is responsible for supporting the application of the Regional Water Quality Model and water quality data analyses to support mine planning and water management decisions at our steel-making coal operations.
To be successful, we are looking for a highly motivated, attentive, and organized person, who can drive and keep pace with change and innovation. This person has strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and can effectively engage with professionals across departments and at varying levels of the organization. The ability to find solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is vital.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a substantial contribution to the sustainability of mining and improving water quality. Our water team is growing and expanding to address complicated challenges, utilizing innovative technology.
