Job summary

Story Environmental Inc. is seeking an experienced environmental professional to join our Ontario team in a permanent role focused on environmental planning, regulatory compliance, and project management for mining-related developments.

Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree and have 5+ years of experience in operations or project planning within environmental consulting, with strong technical writing and communication skills; travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, or environmental consulting.
  • Experience in mining or mineral engineering is beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and ability to interact with government agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare operations and project estimates, schedules and reports.
  • Write technical reports for clients and regulators.
  • Provide guidance on procedures for government development approvals.
  • Plan and maintain production schedules and monitor timelines.
  • Maintain equipment and instruments used on projects.
  • Consult with government regulatory agencies on compliance requirements.
  • Identify potential natural risks and advise clients accordingly.
  • Provide detailed information and guidance on project analysis and design.
