Job Description:
Microchip’s Communications Business Unit (CBU) is looking for junior engineers to fill multiple roles as Semiconductor Design & Verification Engineers – Entry/Junior Level in Montreal, Quebec Canada. CBU is a premier supplier for 100Gbps+ Optical Networking & Connectivity Semiconductor Solutions for Telecom & Hyperscale Data Center Networks. Our devices enable high-bandwidth, cloud-based applications such as streaming services, social media platforms, and video conferencing. The CBU Product Development team is engaged through the entire semiconductor R&D cycle of concept, design, verification, and implementation stages. Once a prototype is available, the team supports embedded software development and system validation lab testing through to mass-market production release. We are an experienced chip team working with the latest semiconductor development tools and methodologies in advanced process technologies to develop state-of-the-art network devices. As a junior engineer, you will innovate via digital design and the testing of circuits implementing features related to our semiconductor products. You will be guided by architects and lead engineers and will collaborate with other team members to deliver complex designs in a friendly and professional environment.
