Capital Engineering invites engineers to join our Edmonton-based team, delivering practical engineering solutions across energy and industrial sectors. We welcome applicants from Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural, Process, Instrumentation & Controls, or Piping disciplines, including EITs and seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or technical education relevant to your discipline.
• Professional registration with APEGA or eligibility for registration.
• Experience in industrial projects, ideally in an EPC setting.
• Experience in oil & gas, energy, mining and/or chemical sectors.
• Experience in oil sands, upgrading, refining, and tailings is an asset.
• Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to quality, safety and delivering practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Support projects from concept through detailed design and construction.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, project managers, clients, and contractors.
• Review drawings, technical documents, and engineering deliverables.
• Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction support.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to project challenges.
• Ensure work meets codes, standards, specifications, and client requirements.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your discipline and experience, you may:

• Develop engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
