Job summary

Francis Banville’s team in Longueuil is seeking a building automation specialist to participate in design, coordination, and commissioning for diverse projects including institutional, commercial, cultural, and residential buildings.

You will ensure performance, connectivity, and sustainability of control systems while collaborating with clients to understand needs and contributing to reports, specs, and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or DEC in Electrical Engineering, Building Mechanics, Automation, or a related field.
• 3–5 years in the design, coordination, or commissioning of building automation/immotics systems.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems and tools such as Revit (an asset).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision, coordination, and design for immotics projects.
• Conduct site surveys and assess existing systems.
• Design, adapt, and optimize building control and automation systems.
• Collaborate with clients to clearly understand their needs.
• Contribute to report writing, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Support project implementation and site follow-up.
