Qualifications

  • 4 year degree in an EHS related field preferred.

  • Implementing the Environmental Health Safety and Security Management program.
  • Responsible for industrial hygiene monitoring and reporting.

Basic Job Functions:



  • Implements the Environmental Health and Safety program ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and applicable regulatory standards.


Education/Experience:



  • 4 year degree in an EHS related field preferred, other degrees considered with related work experience. In lieu of a degree, job experience will be considered.

  • 0-2 years' experience in the Environmental, Safety or Industrial Hygiene fields required.


Required Skills/Competencies:



  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Strong computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong self-motivation and multitasking abilities.

  • Broad-based knowledge of Safety, IH and Environmental programs.

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations.


Essential Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for implementing the Environmental Health Safety and Security Management program in accordance with Federal, State and Local Regulations.

  • Responsible for industrial hygiene monitoring and reporting.

  • *Responsible for Safety Equipment routine checks in designated areas.

  • Responsible for providing designated group(s) with necessary support to prevent incidents impacting EH&S.

  • Assists in incident investigations as needed.

  • Support DE functions and project risk assessments.

  • Responsibilities for assisting the waste management functions and assisting with shipments, labeling, inspections.

  • Responsible for completing required audits and inspections as directed.

  • Provide EHS training.

  • Support activities of the Emergency Response Team and Safety Teams.

  • Support HEPA testing activities as needed.

  • Support all Security functions.

  • Support any other EHS&S job duties.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Reporting Relationships:



  • This position reports to either the EHS&S Engineer or Manager.


Travel:



  • Domestic and international travel between 0%-10%.


Estimated Salary Range:



  • $54,700-$78,000 Annually.
