Job Title: Engineer & Continuous Improvement Coordinator
Location: Cornwall, ON
Pay: $96,530/yr
Job Type: Full-Time

We're currently seeking an Engineering & Continuous Improvement Coordinator to support our operations by driving efficiency, reducing waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the plant.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate current production processes, equipment, and workflow to identify inefficiencies or areas for optimization
  • Lead and support Continuous Improvement (CI) projects using various methodologies
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements, automation, and new equipment integration
  • Monitor KPIs, including OEE, downtime, waste, and throughput, and develop action plans to address gaps
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action for production-related issues
  • Train and engage employees in CI tools and methodologies to build a problem-solving culture on the shop floor
  • Assist in maintaining accurate documentation for processes, procedures, and SOPs
  • Ensure all improvements align with safety and quality standards
Qualifications
  • Degree in Process, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or other related field with a minimum of 3-5 years in a engineering role
  • Technical diploma combined with 5-10 years' experience
  • Use of office suite and software platforms
  • Bilingualism is an asset
