Job summary

Belcan Corporation is seeking a Component Engineer for an on-site, 12-month renewable contract in Longueuil. You will improve engine control reliability by leading investigations and coordinating with customer engineering and technical specialists.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience with electrical/mechanical or aerospace engineering, and strong leadership and bilingual English/French communication. Start ASAP; 514/450/438 area codes apply.

Responsibilities

• Act as the focal point of contact for customer engineering.
• Establish clear priority to the technical specialist.
• Prepare, and present the LRU reliability data.
• Act as the coordinator to determine the need for investigation for reported field events.
• Lead effectively the investigation of LRU unplanned removal for root cause and corrective action plan.
• Review supplier data, identify gaps and come up with an action plan.
• Meet target dates for component maintenance manual review, validation, and approval.
• Provide required support to engineering changes, overhaul shop, and quality.

Responsabilites generales du poste :

Vous serez charge(e) d'ameliorer la fiabilite des commandes de moteur sur le marche des pieces detachees, en menant des enquetes.

Vos responsabilit*s :

• Agir en tant que point de contact pour l'ingenierie client
• Etablir des priorites claires pour le specialiste technique
• Preparer et presenter les donnees relatives a la fiabilite des LRU.
• Agir en tant que coordinateur pour determiner la necessite d'une enquete sur les evenements signales sur le terrain.
• Diriger efficacement l'enquete sur les retraits non planifies de LRU afin de determiner la cause profonde et le plan d'action correctif.
• Examiner les donnees des fournisseurs, identifier les lacunes et elaborer un plan d'action
• Respecter les dates cibles pour l'examen, la validation et l'approbation du manuel de maintenance des composants.
• Fournir le soutien necessaire aux changements d'ingerierie, a l'atelier de revision et a la qualite
